The boat tour was amazing. We got to experience so much and see a lot of wildlife. Jane and Randy were so friendly and knowledgeable. We would go again and again if we lived in the California area. This is a must do when in the San Diego area.
My Aunt came to visit me from Florida, having never been to CA before, this had to be special! So, we booked a charter with San Diego Boat Tours with Tawanna as our Hostess and although it was cloudy that morning, the sun came out and we all had the most amazing and photographic adventure we could have asked for! Sea lions, pelicans, dolphins, great food and the best tour guide Tawanna, who made the trip truly memorable!
A lifetime goal for me was to charter a boat for my 50th birthday party. After a great deal of research, I was excited to meet Tawanna and the friendly staff. They were very responsive, helpful, and supportive! I appreciated her insight and answers to all of my questions.
The day of my party was perfect. The captain and crew made our outing enjoyable and everyone had a great time! I hope to have the opportunity to be on board again because they made my milestone birthday very special.
Very pleasant and enjoyable yacht charter and very friendly staff. Both Captain Joel and 1st Mate Amber were very helpful and friendly and took care of us on our trip. The captain makes a big difference in the success of the charter. Saw such beautiful views. We went out in the morning because the wind does not generally pick up until later in the day. This kept the waves calm and gave us a smooth trip. We were lucky in that we also saw sea lions.
Awesome tour with Capt. Dana! Really thoroughly enjoyed the sights and sounds of the bay and of the San Diego skyline. My family loves the boat tour and we’ve made it a family tradition to catch a ride with San Diego Boat Tours every time we’re in town.

With the help of the amazing Tawanna and boat crew of San Diego Boat Tours, I planned a surprise 30th birthday party for my fiancé and I must say he was definitely surprised. Being that it was my first time throwing a big bash like this and having to keep it a secret from him for months was already stressing, Tawanna had helped me tremendously to take most of the stress away from the initial planning, responding quickly to my emails, answering all my questions, and even helping with the food/drinks set up! I can’t thank her and the crew enough for a wonderful night. We had 47 guests on the boat, and I was able to bring in my own food and alcohol. The catamaran itself was a beauty. It was spacious and clean and fit everyone outside to watch the sunset and inside when the weather became cooler. My guests are still talking about it to this day of how much of a fun experience it was for them. I recommend San Diego Boat Tours to anyone looking to rent out a boat for a special occasion, you will not regret it!

We recently used San Diego Boat Tours and I highly recommend them to anyone. Tawanna was amazing and took care of everything for us. The Captain and our hostess exceeded our expectations. Next time we are in the area we will be booking another one of their tours.
The whole evening (wedding) was even better than we imagined it would be. The crew were amazing and actually felt very much like family to us. I think it may be great for LGBT couples to see some pics of a same sex wedding on the website and we’d love to help in that. I almost wish we could do it all over again every month. It was just such a magical experience.

Words cannot describe the experience that I had on your yacht yesterday. Our captain was extremely knowledgeable. We hung out watching 4 – 5 whales, spout, fluke, breach and roll in the kelp. On the way out and way back we had 80 – 100 dolphins playing in the wake of our boat. That was an experience by itself. Wow! What a day!
The yacht Charter was absolutely beautiful. From the very first phone call to the end, this was a wonderful experience, with all so very thoughtful in helping us plan this event. It surpassed all expectations, and we want to thank you for making it such a special day.
We all had a FABULOUS time and spent the entire time up with the Capt. (charming). EVERYONE had a great time and my Mom’s 85th was one of her most memorable (she told me!). Thank you for your helpful planning and follow-through. I imagine I will see you again as I like entertaining this way.
This made for a great 30th Birthday for our group. It was a unique, fun, and exciting way to spend the evening. The night charter provided for wonderful views of San Diego, the Coronado Bridge, and the Hotel Del Coronado. The Captain was knowledgeable and really made the evening a great experience for everyone, whether you wanted fun facts or in-depth naval explanations and history he knew it all.
This was absolutely a fantastic experience. The crew was very pleasant and accommodating from the very first phone call until the charter was completed – this crew handled the entire trip beyond our expectations. The captain knew exactly where to take us and the views were spectacular. We all had a lot of fun and we had a very memorable night. Also, the food was excellent. I would definitely recommend your charter to anyone that is looking into an intimate party, or for a relaxing cruise around the bay. My 50th party was everything I hoped for! I loved it!
